Full Stack Desk Developer (Typescript React & Python)

This unique role places you directly within our global CTRM & Operations Desk Developer team working closely with our physical operations and trading desks in Dubai.

You will be given the opportunity to work with technical and non-technical experts and develop innovative solutions, and full-stack applications used by the desk.

You will be heavily involved in helping transform the existing business developed automation tooling landscape, where your ability to quickly understand business requirements, communicate effectively, work independently and rapidly prototype/iterate over new and existing requirements will be crucial in driving modern cutting-edge solutions to empower the physical operations desk.

This Full Stack Developer role, located in Dubai, UAE, characterizes itself by:

• Rapid Prototyping: Working closely with the operations/commercial teams to build and support market-focused business development applications and support existing tools, by rapidly iterating on user feedback, turning it into actionable value adding solutions
• Project Management: Analyse ongoing business and user requirements and independently manage project lifecycles from end-to-end within the team.
• Innovation: Suggest innovative and reliable technical solutions for the business, enhancing existing processes or identifying new opportunities for the business to leverage.
• Platform Expertise and Integration: Develop a deep understanding of Vitol's MIS platforms and tools, their functionalities and capabilities to help the business development platform thrive.
