Requirements

- Proven ability to manage budgets, allocate resources effectively, and oversee administrative processes
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work on site in Kandahar Province, Afghanistan
- Demonstrated mentoring and coaching skills for supporting faculty and students
- Proficiency in relevant languages for the region and in written academic communication
- Master's degree in law or related field (doctorate preferred)

Role Description
- This is a full time, on site Owner role for the Master 2 Contrat, Biens, Responsabilité program, located in Kandahar Province, Afghanistan.
- The Owner is responsible for leading the academic and strategic direction of the program, overseeing curriculum development, and ensuring that teaching and research activities align with current legal practice in contracts, property, and liability.
- The role includes managing faculty and administrative staff, coordinating admissions and student support, and maintaining high standards of academic quality and integrity.
- The Owner represents the program to external partners, legal institutions, and regulatory bodies, develops collaborations, and supports initiatives that strengthen the program’s reputation.
- Day to day activities involve decision making on budget and resources, monitoring program outcomes, guiding continuous improvement, and providing mentorship and guidance to both staff and students.
Qualifications
- Advanced academic background in law, preferably with specialization in contracts, property, and liability, and strong familiarity with civil and commercial law frameworks.
- Experience in academic leadership or program management, including curriculum design, faculty coordination, and quality assurance in higher education.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, allocate resources effectively, and oversee administrative processes in an educational or professional setting.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to represent the program to institutional partners and regulatory bodies.
- Ability to work on site in Kandahar Province, Afghanistan, with cultural awareness, adaptability, and a commitment to creating an inclusive learning environment.
- Demonstrated mentoring and coaching skills for supporting faculty and students in their professional and academic development.
- Proficiency in relevant languages for the region and in written academic communication; familiarity with international legal standards is an advantage.
