About the Role
Central Bicol State University of Agriculture is hiring a Frontend/Backend Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications. The role requires proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, modern frontend frameworks, backend languages, and RESTful APIs.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable, secure, and high performance web applications across both client side and server side environments
- Develop responsive and interactive frontend interfaces using modern web technologies
- Translate UI/UX designs into functional, accessible, and cross browser compatible applications
- Design, develop, and maintain server side applications, RESTful APIs, databases, authentication services, and business logic
- Participate throughout the software development lifecycle including requirements analysis, solution design, coding, testing, debugging, deployment, monitoring, maintenance, and continuous improvement
- Perform code reviews, troubleshoot technical issues, enhance system performance, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, QA engineers, DevOps engineers, and cross functional stakeholders
- Contribute to technical documentation, architecture improvements, technology evaluation, and adoption of software engineering best practices
Requirements
- Strong understanding of frontend development, backend development, web application architecture, software engineering principles, and SDLC
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, modern frontend frameworks, backend programming languages, RESTful API development, relational and/or NoSQL databases, version control systems, and modern development frameworks
- Knowledge of authentication, authorization, application security, system integration, database design, performance optimization, and responsive web design principles
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Role Description
- The Frontend / Backend Developer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and high performance web applications across both client side and server side environments.
- This role delivers end to end software solutions that support business objectives while ensuring exceptional user experience, system reliability, and application scalability.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing responsive and interactive frontend interfaces using modern web technologies.
- Translating UI/UX designs into functional, accessible, and cross browser compatible applications.
- Optimizing user interface performance, enhancing usability, and ensuring compliance with modern web standards.
- Designing, developing, and maintaining server side applications, RESTful APIs, databases, authentication services, and business logic.
- Participating throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Performing code reviews, troubleshooting technical issues, enhancing system performance, and contributing to CI/CD pipelines.
