The Role
The Front Office Coordinator is a primary point of contact for patients throughout their treatment journey.
The role supports patient confidence and comfort while keeping front-of-house operations smooth and efficient.
The coordinator works with treatment coordinators, clinicians and clinical support staff to manage appointments, clinic flow and the patient experience.
Responsibilities
- Welcome patients and manage check-in, check-out and enquiries by phone, email and in person.
- Coordinate consultation, diagnostic, surgery and follow-up appointments, including confirmations, cancellations, diary changes and waitlists.
- Coordinate with treatment coordinators, clinicians and nursing staff on scheduling, patient logistics and clinic flow.
- Complete patient details, documentation, consent forms and pre-appointment requirements accurately.
- Maintain patient records, filing and compliance documentation in the practice management system.
