Role Overview

Front Desk Responsibilities

• Welcome and greet guests professionally and handle check-in and check-out procedures.
• Manage room reservations, cancellations, and modifications.
• Provide accurate information about hotel facilities, services, policies, and local attractions.
• Respond to guest requests, concerns, and complaints promptly.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping, Maintenance, Food and Beverage, and other departments.
• Handle cash, credit card transactions, and other payment procedures accurately.

Records and Guest Services

• Maintain guest records and update information in the hotel Property Management System.
• Prepare and maintain front office reports and documents.
• Manage telephone calls, emails, and other guest communications.
• Assist guests with luggage, transportation, wake-up calls, and other services when required.
• Promote hotel services and facilities to enhance the guest experience.
