Role Overview
Supervise packaging-line production and execute the production plan through packaging machines.
Provide operator and packer training, support efficient machine operation, and maintain product quality with minimal losses.
Production and Team Supervision
- Create each shift's production plan and ensure schedule attainment.
- Supervise operators and evaluate the performance of subordinates.
- Conduct annual and refresher training for packers and operators.
- Manage staffing ratios, break times, cleaning during flavor changes, and attendance.
- Make decisions affecting daily and weekly production requirements and determine shift headcount.
Efficiency, Quality, and Equipment
- Drive line improvement and cost savings within the assigned area.
- Achieve line efficiency, material efficiency, and grams-giveaway targets.
- Use Colos and SAP programs effectively.
- Ensure quality packets and cases are produced at all times.
- Verify machine maintenance checklist completion and keep assigned machines in good condition.
- Balance efficiency and quality requirements.
