The Front End Supervisor delivers exceptional customer service and supports front-end store operations.
When the front-end manager is absent, the supervisor resolves cash-register issues and secures registers in the safe.
Workplace
- The role is based in a grocery store front-end environment in Surrey, British Columbia.
Responsibilities
- Ensure exceptional customer service and apply company policies, government health guidelines, and occupational health and safety standards.
- Act as a resource for team members and promote trust, communication, and team spirit.
- Perform cash transfers, deposits, checks, weekly audits, and other front-end duties.
- Resolve register issues and secure cash registers when the front-end manager is absent.
What You Have to Offer
- At least six months of cashier experience.
- Management experience and knowledge of point-of-sale computer systems.
- Customer-service orientation, communication ability, team spirit, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with basic accounting operations.
- Flexible availability, including overtime.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 kg.
- Ability to work with short-term exposure to chemicals and cleaning products.
- A high school diploma is a valuable asset.
