Front End Checkout Team Associate

Position Summary

What You’ll Do

• Greet all customers in a polite and friendly manner.
• Process purchase transactions efficiently, including merchandise deactivation under the EAS Program.
• Promote company-sponsored credit card, product protection, and charity programs.
• Assist customers with bagging and loading merchandise.
• Follow safe work practices, including proper lifting, and keep the work area clean.
• Maintain register security and integrity through cash handling, company policy compliance, and situational awareness.
• Refer appropriate service and transactional issues to a Customer Service Manager or Front End Team Lead.
• Educate and support customers on the correct and efficient use of self-checkout options.

Compensation

• The minimum rate of pay starts at $17.75 per hour.

Minimum Qualifications

• Applicants must be at least 16 years old.

Primary Location

• The role is based at 234 Hays Blvd, Oakville, Ontario, Canada.
