Role Overview

We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Front-end Developer (Typescript) to work on a contractor basis.

This individual will contribute to the development of frontier AI models by applying their expertise in building high-quality, real-world frontend components using Typescript, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Their work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through efficient data flow between frontend and backend services.

This role plays a critical part in enabling 1 billion people to do meaningful work by applying their expertise to AI.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, optimize, and maintain scalable frontend components using Typescript, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, ensuring high standards of code quality and maintainability through code reviews, documentation, and best practices.
  • Integrate RESTful APIs and efficiently manage data flow between the frontend and backend services, collaborating closely with designers, backend developers, and other stakeholders.
  • Implement and maintain robust testing strategies, including automation testing for continuous integration and deployment pipelines, ensuring high-quality contributions at scale.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop high-quality frontend components, APIs, and data visualizations that meet business requirements and user needs.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on the work of other developers, contributing to the growth and improvement of the development team.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Typescript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, with experience in building scalable and maintainable frontend applications.
  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, web development frameworks, and testing strategies, including automation testing for continuous integration and deployment pipelines.
  • Experience with collaboration tools, version control systems (e.g., Git), and Agile development methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex problems and design effective solutions.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with designers, backend developers, and other stakeholders.
