Front Desk Attendant

The Front Desk Attendant will assume the role of attending to the Front Desk at the Recreation Centre, which will include the responsibility of customer service, registration, receiving payments, maintaining cleanliness around desk area and change rooms, enforcing facility rules and various other tasks, as assigned. This role is to recruit for an existing vacancy.

The position will be on part-time basis, daytime, evenings and weekends as needed. It will be based residentially in Red Lake, Ontario.

The compensation range for this role is $21.22 p/h.

Key result areas in this role include:

Greet customers and answer telephone

Accept payments, bookings and registrations

Be responsible for the safety of customers and co-workers and follow emergency procedures; support pool emergencies as second responder

Maintain pool records

Schedule and assist with birthday parties and other organised functions

Monitor the weight room patrons

Maintain cleanliness of lobby, party rooms, viewing areas and change rooms

Other tasks, as assigned.

As the Front Desk Attendant, you must be 18 years of age or older, a current first aid and cpr certificate and be able to uphold a high level of customer service. It is also important that you have/ can demonstrate:

Able to work efficiently, be able to multi-task and work with minimal supervision

Pleasant, flexible and cooperative

Ensure confidentiality in all company dealings

Foster a balanced, positive work environment

Have prior experience in customer service or reception work
