About the hotel

The Doha hotel is located in West Bay near the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre, government offices, corporate headquarters, restaurants, meeting venues, and leisure facilities.
Role overview
The Front Desk Agent provides professional, customer-focused service and helps ensure guests have a memorable stay.
The role is expected to promote the hotel’s service culture through care, teamwork, high standards, respect for differences, and responsible decision-making.
Day-to-day responsibilities
- Provide prompt, courteous, and efficient service to guests from arrival through departure.
- Greet guests personally by name when known and escort them to their rooms.
- Conduct in-room and hotel familiarization and assist with hotel activity enquiries and requests.
- Maintain current knowledge of hotel information, local services, operating hours, promotions, events, and attractions.
- Maintain awareness of daily rates and hotel occupancy levels.
- Administer front desk cashiering accurately and follow established systems, policies, and procedures.
- Process guest accounts from check-in through check-out and accurately post incidental charges using computerized front office systems.
- Protect guest privacy by ensuring guest details are not disclosed.
- Maintain full knowledge of hotel policies, procedures, service standards, facilities, and events.
- Operate safely and in an environmentally responsible manner to protect guests, employees, and the environment.
- Comply with hotel environmental, health, and safety policies and procedures.
Experience and competencies
- Similar experience in a luxury hotel.
- A business-related degree or equivalent.
- Experience in effective learning and development methods.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and diverse work environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and excellent written and spoken English.
- Additional language skills are advantageous.
- Strong organizational skills.
- A results-oriented, self-motivated approach and positive attitude.
