Role Overview
Serve as the first point of contact in the store for customers seeking products and services.
This is a temporary position with full-time hours for the duration of the contract.
Work as part of a team focused on consistent customer service and efficient store operations.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and assist with product and service inquiries.
- Prepare quotes, explain options, and support sales decisions.
- Complete vehicle check-ins by gathering mileage, tire condition, and service details outdoors in all weather.
- Look up parts, pricing, and availability using internal systems.
- Prepare invoices and process transactions accurately.
- Answer calls, book appointments, and maintain customer records.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Coordinate with the shop team to ensure a smooth customer experience.
Requirements
- Previous customer service and sales experience.
- Interest in automotive products, tires, basic vehicle knowledge, or parts lookup is an asset.
- Comfort working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Strong communication skills with a practical, customer-first approach.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- A valid driver's license is an asset.
- Ability to lift 30 to 50 pounds as required.
- Team-oriented approach and commitment to working safely.
Compensation
- The hourly wage is $18.86.
Schedule
- Shifts are scheduled within store operating hours and may include weekends.
- Store hours are Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- The listed Airdrie stores are closed on Sundays.
Store Locations
- The role may be based at the K744 location at 2967 Main Street SW in Airdrie, Alberta.
- The role may be based at the K616 location at 11 E Lake Way NE in Airdrie, Alberta.
- Vehicle check-ins may occur outdoors in all weather conditions.
