Freight Forwarding Admin / Operations Coordinator

Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Provide administrative and operational support to the Australian team and follow up shipment progress.
• Coordinate suppliers, cargo collection, documentation, shipment status, transport bookings, and local deliveries.
• Communicate with trucking companies, customs brokers, warehouses, customers, suppliers, and logistics providers.
• Maintain shipment records, customer information, operational data, sales data, quotations, reports, and CRM updates.
• Prepare and check shipping documents, respond to enquiries, follow up information, and resolve operational issues.
• Assist with general office administration as required.

Requirements

• A full Australian driver licence and confidence driving in Melbourne are required.
• Good spoken and written English, computer skills, and strong data-entry and record-management skills are required.
• Mandarin Chinese is strongly preferred for regular coordination with the China-based operations team.
• Previous administration, logistics, freight forwarding, import/export, customer service, or operations experience is highly regarded.
