About the Role
Bloc & Brush is offering a Freelance Video Editor Internship for a fully remote, project-based role. The intern will support post-production for video projects, including footage organization, editing, color correction, and asset preparation.

- Organize and review footage, assemble rough and final cuts, sync audio, and apply basic color correction and transitions

- Prepare assets for motion graphics, add titles and simple graphics, and export videos in multiple formats for social media and other digital platforms
Requirements
- Strong skills in Video Editing and Video Production
- Ability in Video Color Grading
- Experience or interest in Motion Graphics and Graphics
- Familiarity with editing tools (Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro) and basic audio editing
- Good attention to detail, time management skills, and ability to follow creative direction remotely
- Portfolio or samples of previous video work
- Interest in developing a career in video post production

Role Description
- As a Freelance Video Editor Intern, you will support the post production process for a variety of video projects in a fully remote capacity.
- Organize and review footage, assemble rough and final cuts, sync audio, and apply basic color correction and transitions.
- Collaborate with creative leads to refine edits, implement feedback, and maintain consistent visual style and pacing.
- Prepare assets for motion graphics, add titles and simple graphics, and export videos in multiple formats for social media and other digital platforms.
- This is a project based internship role designed to help you build experience, expand your portfolio, and develop professional editing workflows.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Video Editing and Video Production, including organizing footage, assembling cuts, and managing timelines in non linear editing software.
- Ability in Video Color Grading to adjust exposure, color balance, and overall look for visual consistency and mood.
- Experience or interest in Motion Graphics and Graphics to create or integrate titles, overlays, and simple animated elements.
- Familiarity with common editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro) and basic audio editing practices.
- Good attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to follow creative direction and incorporate feedback in a remote setting.
- Portfolio or samples of previous video work (personal, academic, or client) demonstrating storytelling, pacing, and visual style.
- Interest in developing a career in video post production, with a willingness to learn, experiment, and adapt to new tools and workflows.
