Role Overview
Freelance MEP engineering role focused on building-services design, calculations, coordination, and authority submissions.
Projects may include villas, residential, commercial, industrial, and other building developments.
Work Arrangement
- The role is freelance and may be performed on a project basis.
- Work location is in person.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review MEP design drawings and calculations.
- Design and coordinate HVAC, plumbing, drainage, electrical, and fire protection systems.
- Prepare MEP layouts and engineering documentation for building projects.
- Perform MEP load calculations and system sizing.
- Coordinate MEP services with architectural and structural drawings.
- Review existing MEP systems and provide suitable engineering solutions.
- Prepare documents for Dubai authority submissions and approvals and respond to authority comments.
- Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, contractors, and the internal engineering team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a relevant MEP discipline.
