Position Overview
Al Hilal Bank is seeking a Fraud Analyst to join its Fraud Operations team.
The role safeguards bank assets, monitors transaction integrity, and coordinates with regulatory and law enforcement entities.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor inward and outward banking transactions using internal detection systems to identify, investigate, and mitigate suspicious or fraudulent activity.
- Process police inquiries, court requests, and law enforcement mandates related to fraud investigations.
- Escalate potential fraud threats, execute account holds or blocks, and assist in recovering fraudulent funds where applicable.
- Prepare case files, incident reports, and documentation for internal control teams and external regulatory or legal bodies.
- Support updates to fraud risk parameters, rules, and internal workflows.
Key Requirements and Qualifications
- Requires either 1–2 years of hands-on experience in Fraud Operations, Risk Management, or Financial Crime Compliance, ideally in banking or financial services.
- Alternatively, a fresh graduate with a bachelor's degree in Finance, Banking, or a closely related business discipline may qualify.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail are required.
- Familiarity with transaction monitoring tools, banking operations, or anti-fraud frameworks is expected.
