Role Overview
The Commercial Finance Manager will join the Middle East and Asia team in Dubai as a finance business partner supporting profitable growth.

Finance Business Partnering
- Partner with commercial, operational, and delivery teams, particularly the Commercial Operations Manager role.
- Provide financial insight for bids, contracts, and new business opportunities.
- Build trusted relationships with sales, operations, and regional leadership stakeholders.
- Challenge assumptions and bring a commercial perspective to planning and forecasting.
Revenue and Commercial Support
- Review commercial forecasts, pricing, and contracts for margin integrity and risk management.
- Maintain revenue tracking, pipeline reporting, and commercial dashboards.
- Lead regional sales budgeting and forecasting with commercial teams.
Operational and Delivery Partnering
- Help logistics and project delivery teams understand cost drivers, project economics, and financial performance.
- Embed financial discipline into operational planning and commercial execution.
- Implement post-project financial reviews and apply cost and margin learnings to future planning.
Planning, Reporting and Analysis
- Lead commercial finance input into annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting cycles.
- Prepare management reporting, variance analysis, and performance commentary.
- Review month-end results and produce monthly reporting for the Head of Commercial Finance and CFO.
- Identify and communicate trends, risks, and opportunities in financial data.
People and Collaboration
- Support the growth and development of two junior finance analysts through coaching and structured feedback.
- Collaborate with finance, operations, and commercial functions across regions, cultures, and time zones.
- Contribute to improvements in financial processes, systems, and reporting tools.
Essential Qualifications and Experience
- Fully qualified CIMA or ACCA accountant.
- At least 7 years of post-qualification experience in commercial finance or finance business partnering.
- Experience partnering with sales, commercial, revenue-generating, or operational delivery teams.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insight.
- High emotional intelligence and the ability to influence without authority.
- Experience across multiple geographies or time zones in an international business environment.
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling proficiency, with comfort using ERP and reporting systems.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
- Experience in the broadcast, media, or live events industry.
- Exposure to the Middle East business environment.
- Experience with Hyperion.
- Arabic language skills are not required.
