FP&A Manager

We are looking for a highly analytical and systems-oriented FP&A professional to join our Finance team in Amsterdam.

This role goes beyond traditional planning and reporting: you will combine deep FP&A expertise with the ability to design and operate data and AI-driven finance workflows.

You will play a key role in planning, forecasting, and reporting, while also transforming how Finance leverages data, automation, and AI to deliver scalable, high-quality insights across the business.

This is a builder role for someone who wants to shape the future of FP&A, not just operate within existing processes.

What you’ll do

• Own and contribute to periodic forecasts and multi-year financial plans.
• Build, maintain, and refine financial models to support business initiatives, operational decisions, and investment cases.
• Deliver timely, accurate, and insightful monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
• Analyze financial performance against plan/forecast, identify trends, and deliver actionable insights to leadership.
• Track and report key KPIs to (Senior) Management and Business Leaders.
• Transition reporting and analysis from Excel-based workflows to modern data platforms and BI tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure transparency on costs and financial performance.
• Act as a Finance Business Partner, providing analysis and decision support to senior leadership.
• Translate business questions into structured analytical and data problems.
• Partner with data and engineering teams to ensure scalable and reliable data pipelines.
• Design and manage AI-assisted workflows across forecasting, reporting, and analysis.
• Structure financial and operational data to enable effective use of AI tools and agents.
• Act as a “human-in-the-loop” operator, validating and improving AI-generated outputs.
• Evaluate and implement new AI tools, ensuring alignment with finance processes.
• Support data quality initiatives and the evolution of FP&A into a more data-driven and technology-enabled function.

Who you are

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Data Analytics, or related field.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in FP&A, business controlling, corporate finance, or management consulting, ideally in Financial Services, FinTech, or Technology.
