About the Role
KPay Group seeks a founding team Business Development Executive to drive market entry in Dubai. This zero-to-one role involves building the local GTM strategy, driving merchant acquisition, and closing key partnerships.

Responsibilities
- Build & own the local GTM strategy – develop and execute the market entry plan, including target segments, pricing approach, partnership roadmap, and sales model tailored to the local ecosystem
- Formulate Competitive Commercial Strategy: Analyze market gaps and competitor maneuvers to strategically refine our positioning, ensuring our value proposition remains highly disruptive
- Drive Merchant Acquisition: Personally hunt, negotiate, and close merchant deals, establishing a high benchmark for our on the ground sales success
- Deliver Growth Metrics: Consistently hit daily/weekly activity benchmarks and monthly acquisition targets to support our overall revenue goals
- Cultivate Flagship Relationships: Manage and deepen relationships with early merchants post close, ensuring high satisfaction, long term retention, and leveraging them as local success stories
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in B2B field sales ideally within Payments, POS, SaaS, or tech driven environments
- Proven 'Hunter' Mentality: Energetic and resilient when it comes to outbound prospecting, with a track record of successfully booking meetings and opening doors with cold accounts
- On the Ground Familiarity: Solid understanding of the local business culture, commercial hubs, and how local merchants operate
- Adaptable & Self Motivated: Comfortable operating in a fast moving, high growth environment where processes are evolving, and eager to take ownership of tasks
- Agile Learning Mindset: High willingness to learn, paired with the ability to navigate ambiguity in an evolving startup landscape
