About the Role
Rec Technologies is seeking a Founding Recruiter to own full-cycle recruiting across all functions, build sourcing strategies from scratch, and manage the ATS. The ideal candidate has 4-6 years of full-cycle recruiting experience in a startup environment and thrives in zero-to-one settings.

Responsibilities
- Own full cycle recruiting across all functions, including technical and GTM roles
- Build repeatable outbound sourcing strategies from scratch
- Own Ashby ATS end to end: stage configuration, scorecards, communication templates, scheduling, automations
- Run a crisp, high velocity candidate experience from first outreach through offer
- Partner with hiring managers on structured intakes, kickoffs, calibration, and pipeline insights
- Help craft and carry employer brand narrative
Requirements
- 4 6 years of full cycle recruiting experience
- Meaningful time in house at a startup (Seed Series A/B preferred)
- Proven sourcer with track record of building pipelines for hard to fill roles
- Experience standing up or overhauling recruiting systems in ambiguous environments
- Strong instincts on talent evaluation
- Autonomous and decisive

About The Role
- As Founding Recruiter, you will own talent acquisition across the company, building the function from scratch.
- You will report to co founder & President Rachel.
What You'll Own
- Full cycle recruiting across all functions: technical and GTM roles.
- Sourcing engine: build repeatable outbound sourcing strategies from scratch.
- Process & ATS: own Ashby end to end.
- Candidate experience: run a crisp, high velocity process.
- Hiring manager partnership: run structured intakes, lead kickoffs, calibrate.
- Employer brand: help craft narrative that makes top talent choose Rec.
Who You Are
- 4 6 years of full cycle recruiting experience, with meaningful time in house at a startup (Seed Series A/B preferred).
- A proven sourcer with a track record of building pipelines for hard to fill roles.
- A builder by nature: stood up or overhauled recruiting systems in ambiguous environments.
- Strong instincts on talent: evaluate on trajectory, potential, and culture add.
- Autonomous and decisive.
- Genuinely motivated by the mission.
Pay & Benefits
- Compensation: $130,000 $170,000 base + meaningful equity.
- Benefits: Flexible PTO, top tier health/dental/vision, 401(k) plan.
- Work location: San Francisco — in office most days at FiDi SF office.
