About the Role
KAZNA is seeking a Founding CTO to lead the technical vision and architecture of an AI-powered consumer platform in the UAE. This equity-based part-time role will transition to full-time post-fundraising.

Responsibilities
- Define and own the long term technology strategy and architecture
- Lead product technical execution from MVP to scale
- Oversee mobile, backend, infrastructure, and system design
- Establish cybersecurity, data privacy, and secure infrastructure standards
- Drive engineering best practices, quality, and scalability
- Lead technical roadmap planning and execution
- Evaluate and implement AI / automation capabilities
- Build and scale the future engineering organization
- Support fundraising discussions and technical due diligence
- Collaborate closely with leadership on product and strategic decisions

About the Opportunity
- We are building an AI powered consumer platform designed to become the operating system for household life administration in the UAE.
- The company is currently at an advanced MVP stage, with strong validation within the UAE innovation ecosystem.
- We are seeking a Founding CTO to join the leadership team and drive the technical vision, architecture, security, and long term scalability of the platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and own the long term technology strategy and architecture
- Lead product technical execution from MVP to scale
- Oversee mobile, backend, infrastructure, and system design
- Establish cybersecurity, data privacy, and secure infrastructure standards
- Drive engineering best practices, quality, and scalability
- Lead technical roadmap planning and execution
- Evaluate and implement AI / automation capabilities
- Build and scale the future engineering organization
- Support fundraising discussions and technical due diligence

Required Expertise
- Mobile app architecture and development

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous CTO, Head of Engineering, or senior engineering leadership experience
- Experience building and scaling production grade digital products
- Experience in startups or high growth environments
- AI / machine learning / automation experience is a strong plus
- Strong founder mindset with high ownership and execution ability
- UAE / GCC experience preferred
Compensation Structure
- This role is part time equity based initially, with the expectation of transitioning into a full time compensated executive role following fundraising.
