Location and contract
- The role is based on-site in Abu Dhabi.
- The position is a long-term contract.
- The engineer is expected to engage with client operations on the ground for the duration of the contract.
Qualifications
- Strong experience with Palantir platforms such as Foundry and Gotham, including solution design, configuration, and deployment.
- Proficiency in data integration and engineering, including ETL pipelines, data modeling, SQL, and Python or JavaScript scripting.
- Experience building analytical workflows, dashboards, and user applications for business users in operational environments.
- Experience working directly with clients or stakeholders to gather requirements, define use cases, and translate needs into technical solutions.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced on-site environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional and multicultural teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field; equivalent practical experience is considered.
Advantageous experience
- Familiarity with the energy or oil and gas sector, especially operational data, asset management, and production optimization, is highly beneficial.
- Experience with cloud platforms, APIs, and enterprise-system integration is an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and deploy solutions using Palantir platforms such as Foundry and Gotham.
- Build and maintain data integrations, ETL pipelines, data models, and related engineering solutions.
