The Role
Turn client AI ambitions into shipped tools by diagnosing the right problem, defining a roadmap, and building working prototypes.
Partner with the founder on client relationships and act as a practical thinking partner for AI-literate and AI-curious clients.
This is a builder role that will help shape how AI services are sold and delivered.
Typical Week
- Participate in three to four client calls and ask questions that surface the real problem behind the stated request.
- Map existing processes and identify where AI can create leverage.
- Recommend the right delivery modality for each project.
- Build prototypes on real client data with Claude Code.
- Brief the AI engineer on production work and demonstrate prototypes to clients.
- Update client AI roadmaps and prioritize the next two weeks.
- Push back when a client request does not make sense.
Non-Negotiables
- Bring hands-on AI practice and a strong interest in exploring AI beyond work requirements.
- Use diagnostic judgment to isolate root causes, identify leverage points, and choose between AI automation and human judgment.
- Have one to three years of scoping experience or equivalent standout personal AI projects.
