The Forward Deployed Engineer works at the intersection of technology, AI, and business transformation.
The role partners with teams across AFCA to solve operational challenges, improve customer outcomes, and accelerate innovation.
The engineer acts as a bridge between business problems and practical, scalable engineering solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with business stakeholders to uncover opportunities for AI, automation, and digital enablement.
- Translate ambiguous business challenges into technical solutions across digital platforms.
- Build and deploy prototypes, proof-of-concepts, and production-ready applications.
- Develop integrations across enterprise platforms and cloud services.
- Create AI-enabled solutions using large language models, agents, and automation capabilities.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, data, and architecture teams to scale solutions.
