Forward Deployed AI Engineer

Full-Stack Product Engineering

• Ship full-stack features across frontend, backend, and data layers from idea to production.
• Build React and TypeScript interfaces that make complex graph and model outputs actionable for users.
• Design secure, scalable, performant backend systems and workflow tracking integrated with Jira, Slack, HubSpot, and email.
• Lay foundations for AI-native commerce experiences and collaborate with design and product on polished releases.

Client-Facing Work and Quality

• Participate in client calls, demos, and technical discussions with non-technical enterprise stakeholders.
• Own QA processes, test coverage, bug triage, fix-pack delivery, and platform data integrity.
• Analyze complex datasets, translate findings into actionable insights, and document architecture and technical decisions.

Must-Have Experience

• At least 5 years of software engineering experience in fast-moving, high-performance environments.
• Strong experience shipping full-stack products end to end.
• Client-facing communication skills, including explaining architecture, AI methodology, and product decisions.
• Deep hands-on experience with Neo4j and graph data modeling.
• Production LLM integrations and API integration experience with AI platforms.
• Ability to manage LLM cost, latency, and quality tradeoffs.
• Proficiency in React, TypeScript, Node.js, modern frontend and backend frameworks, scalable databases, and APIs.
• Ability to lead technical demos and translate complex systems into business value.

Nice-to-Have Experience

• Applied data science, ML-adjacent systems, or experimentation framework experience.
• Background in AI search, recommendation systems, SEO-like ranking models, or similar systems.
• Deterministic, evaluable, production agent orchestration experience.
• Familiarity with conversational commerce, AI-powered transactional flows, or creative and content-driven platforms.
