Forming Machine Operator (3rd Shift)

Former Operators operate automated forming machines to produce pressed paperboard trays. Duties include

• Operate forming machines per prints and specifications.
• Produce the required quantity within established specifications and tolerances.
• Measure finished parts with precision tools, ensuring compliance with function, quality, and cosmetic specifications.
• Inspect equipment before use to ensure proper setup and alignment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Working on a PC to enter production information.
• Be capable of acting as a floater as needed by supervision. Remove completed pallets from the end of multiple production lines via pallet jack. Re-stock Corrugated, Pallets, Bags, and any other necessary supplies at multiple production lines. Refill cleaning bottles and sanitary supplies at multiple production lines as needed. Communicate with Utility regarding any items needed to stock production lines. Help with loading machines as spare time allows. Help make boxes for lines that the supervisor recommends.
