Key skills for this role
Degree or equivalent in Chemistry, Science or Engineering, or substantial relevant in-job experience
At least 3 years' experience in a chemical process plant (preferably Formalin and Resin)
Working knowledge of formalin process and product chemistry
Familiarity with relevant legislation, engineering standards and COMAH principles
Strong people-management skills, with the ability to lead, coach and motivate a team
Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the business
A proactive, analytical approach, with the ability to work under pressure and resolve issues efficiently
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
Experience with Siemens control and batch control systems
