Forklift Operator

Role Overview

Responsibilities

• Operate a propane-powered forklift.
• Put inventory in correct locations.
• Operate a pallet inverter to rework damaged product pallets.
• Complete general housekeeping tasks such as sweeping, scraping, shoveling, and wiping.
• Follow safety rules and regulations.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Use a computer for job-related tasks.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Forklift or similar-equipment experience.
• Basic computer-use skills.
• Ability to understand and communicate in English verbally and in writing.
• Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions while using PPE.
• Ability to work in elevated areas four feet and above.
• Ability to perform physical duties including lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays with advance notice.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior production-related work experience is preferred.
