Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Ras Laffan for a Forklift Operator.
The Forklift Operator will be responsible for operating forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials safely within the worksite.
Day-to-day tasks include handling shipments, organizing and storing materials, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with all safety standards.
The candidate will also assist with material packing and other logistics-related duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in Forklift Operation, with the ability to safely and efficiently operate forklift machinery
- Skills in Material Handling, including moving, organizing, and storing items in compliance with safety procedures
- Experience in Shipping & Receiving goods and materials, with a focus on accuracy and timeliness
- Proficiency in Unloading and Packing items with care, ensuring materials are not damaged
- Understanding of workplace safety standards and protocols
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Forklift certification or the ability to obtain one is required
- Basic understanding of inventory management is a plus
