Job Summary
Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely and responsibly.
Move, load, unload, stack, and organize materials and goods within warehouse, storage, or worksite areas.
Follow safety procedures and company policies while performing material-handling duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts to move, load, unload, and stack materials and products.
- Load and unload trucks, containers, and delivery vehicles.
- Transport materials between storage areas, production areas, and loading zones.
- Inspect forklifts before and after each shift and report defects or maintenance requirements.
- Secure and store materials properly to prevent damage or accidents.
- Follow warehouse procedures, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Maintain material movement records when required and assist with inventory counting.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free from hazards.
- Handle fragile, heavy, or hazardous materials using proper procedures.
- Communicate with warehouse staff, supervisors, drivers, and other employees.
- Report accidents, damages, unsafe conditions, or equipment problems immediately.
- Perform other assigned warehouse and material-handling duties.
