Responsibilities
- Oversee daily construction or maintenance activities
- Coordinate crews and assign tasks
- Ensure work is completed safely, on time, and to quality standards
- Supervise site operations and monitor use of heavy equipment
- Ensure carpentry and general maintenance tasks follow project specifications and safety regulations
- Review work progress and resolve on site issues
- Communicate with project managers and other stakeholders
- Maintain clear documentation of work performed
- Foster a collaborative work environment and support training of team members
- Uphold company policies and procedures
Requirements
- Strong supervisory skills with experience leading site teams
- Hands on experience operating or overseeing heavy equipment in construction or maintenance
- Effective communication skills
- Practical carpentry skills
- Maintenance skills including troubleshooting and repair
- Proven experience as a Foreman or similar role in construction or industrial projects
- Thorough understanding of occupational health and safety regulations
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and work orders
- Secondary education or vocational/technical certification in construction or related field preferred
- Commitment to inclusive, respectful team leadership
