Role Overview
Wates is seeking a customer-focused Foot Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer for its Facilities Management team.
The role delivers planned and reactive maintenance across the Elementa Workspace portfolio in London.
The engineer will travel between Central London sites to keep facilities safe, compliant and operational.
The Role
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance on air conditioning and HVAC systems.
- Diagnose and repair faults on split, multi-split, VRV/VRF and associated equipment.
- Complete reactive maintenance tasks in line with service level agreements.
- Conduct routine inspections, testing and compliance checks.
- Maintain accurate records and reports using digital systems.
- Build strong relationships with clients and occupants through excellent customer service.
- Identify system improvement and energy efficiency opportunities.
- Complete work safely in accordance with industry regulations and company standards.
About You
- Proven experience as an Air Conditioning Engineer in commercial environments is required.
- A City & Guilds, NVQ or equivalent qualification in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration is required.
- A valid F-Gas certification is required.
- Strong fault-finding, diagnostic, communication and customer service abilities are required.
- The role requires organisation, self-motivation and the ability to manage workloads independently.
- A good understanding of health and safety requirements in facilities management environments is required.

- This is a foot mobile position covering commercial office buildings throughout Central London.
