About the Role
UCSF Department of Orthopaedic Surgery is recruiting multiple Orthopaedic Foot/Ankle Surgeons at Assistant/Associate/Full Professor rank. Candidates will provide diagnostic and interventional management, collaborate on research, and teach medical students, residents, and fellows.

Position Description
- UCSF Department of Orthopaedic Surgery is recruiting multiple Orthopaedic Foot/Ankle Surgeons at Assistant/Associate/Full Professor rank in Health Sciences (HS) Clinical, Clinical X, or In Residence faculty series.
- Positions based at UCSF locations such as Mission Bay, Marin, and San Mateo.
Requirements
- Valid California medical license or equivalent Special Permit required as condition of employment.
- MD, DO, or equivalent degree from an accredited program.
- Completed an accredited Orthopaedic Residency program.
- Completed a Foot/Ankle Fellowship.
- Board certification/eligibility in Orthopaedic Surgery.
Responsibilities
- Provide diagnostic and interventional management with full spectrum of musculoskeletal diagnoses.
- Collaborate in investigative work leading to publications in peer reviewed journals.
- Participate in didactic and bedside teaching and mentoring for medical students, residents, and fellows.
Salary
- Minimum base salary $154,700 per year (Table 5).
- Total negotiated salary can range up to $900,000 depending on qualifications, clinical productivity, and other factors.
