Position Summary
Ensure staff work together as a team to provide optimum service and meet guest needs.
Monitor dining room service, seating availability, safety, and guest well-being.
Support daily food and beverage operations at the Palm Jumeirah property.
Operational Duties
- Inspect staff grooming and attire and rectify deficiencies.
- Complete opening and closing duties, including supplies setup, cleaning, and securing doors.
- Inspect storage areas for organization, FIFO use, and cleanliness.
- Complete inventories and requisition necessary supplies.
- Complete maintenance work orders.
- Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluation, counseling, discipline, motivation, and coaching.
- Follow safety and security policies, report incidents, and complete required safety training.
- Maintain confidentiality, protect company assets, and uphold quality standards.
- Welcome guests, anticipate service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and respond professionally.
- Maintain positive working relationships and help the team achieve common goals.
- Identify and implement improvements in efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and cost savings.
