Position Summary

Coordinate food service staff to provide optimum service and meet guest needs.

Support dining operations, guest service, employee coordination, safety, and service quality.

Core Responsibilities

  • Inspect staff grooming and attire and correct deficiencies.
  • Complete opening and closing duties, including supplies, cleaning, equipment checks, and securing doors.
  • Inspect storage areas for organization, FIFO use, and cleanliness.
  • Complete inventories and requisition necessary supplies.
  • Monitor dining rooms for seating, service, safety, and guest well-being.
  • Complete maintenance work orders.
  • Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluation, counseling, discipline, motivation, and coaching.
  • Follow company and safety policies, report accidents and unsafe conditions, and complete required safety training.
  • Welcome guests, anticipate service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and respond professionally.
  • Maintain quality standards and identify improvements in efficiency, productivity, safety, and cost savings.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred.
  • At least 2 years of related work experience is preferred.
  • At least 1 year of supervisory experience is preferred.
  • No license or certification is listed.

Workplace and Physical Requirements

  • The position is full time and not remote.
  • The role requires extended periods of standing, sitting, or walking.
  • The role requires lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
  • The role may require movement through confined or elevated spaces, stairs, service ramps, and overhead or below-knee reach.
