Position Summary

Supervises food-service operations and staff to provide optimum service and meet guest needs.

The position is in the Food and Beverage and Culinary category and is non-management.

Employment and Schedule

  • The position is full time.
  • The position is not remote.

Operational Responsibilities

  • Coordinate staff teamwork, inspect grooming and attire, and complete opening and closing duties.
  • Inspect storage areas for organization, FIFO use, and cleanliness.
  • Complete inventories, requisition supplies, and monitor dining-room seating, service, safety, and guest well-being.
  • Complete maintenance work orders.
  • Assist with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluation, counseling, discipline, motivation, and coaching.
  • Welcome guests, anticipate service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and address concerns.
  • Follow safety and security policies, report incidents, complete required training, and protect company assets.
  • Identify and implement improvements in efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and cost savings.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of related work experience.
  • At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
  • No license or certification is specified.

Physical Work Environment

  • The role requires standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods or an entire work shift.
  • The role may require lifting or moving objects weighing up to 50 pounds, using stairs or service ramps, and working in narrow or elevated spaces.
  • The role includes bending, twisting, reaching overhead and below the knees, and manipulating tools or equipment.
