Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections of kitchens, storage areas, and service outlets
- Monitor compliance with local health regulations and company policies
- Identify potential risks related to food handling, preparation, and storage
- Develop and implement food safety procedures
- Maintain accurate records and coordinate corrective actions when non compliance is identified
- Train and guide kitchen and service teams on best practices in hygiene, food safety, and health & safety
- Collaborate with management and quality assurance teams to support audits and continuous improvement
Requirements
- Strong expertise in Food Safety and Hygiene with practical experience in hotel or food service operations
- Knowledge of Health & Safety practices including risk assessment, regulatory compliance, and incident prevention in hospitality environments
- Understanding of Food Technology and Quality Assurance
- Relevant qualifications such as degree or diploma in food science, hospitality management, public health, or related field
- Certifications in food safety (e.g., HACCP or equivalent) highly beneficial
- Strong attention to detail, effective communication, ability to train diverse teams
- Familiarity with local Dubai/UAE food safety regulations and experience with internal and external audits

Role Description
- The Food Safety Officer is a full time, on site role based in Dubai, responsible for overseeing and maintaining food safety and hygiene standards across the hotel's food and beverage operations.
Day to day Tasks
- Conducting regular inspections of kitchens, storage areas, and service outlets
