Position Overview
The role supports daily food production operations and consistent product quality and food safety standards.
The position requires strong organization, a hands-on approach, and understanding of food processing, hygiene, and production procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily food processing and production line operations.
- Supervise production staff and coordinate assignments, shifts, and schedules.
- Monitor production processes, product quality, output, and workplace hygiene.
- Ensure approved procedures, quality standards, and food safety requirements are followed.
- Check raw materials, ingredients, finished products, equipment, and production areas.
- Monitor critical control points, temperature, cleanliness, and applicable food safety requirements.
- Report production issues, quality defects, contamination risks, equipment problems, and abnormalities.
- Train staff on food hygiene, safety procedures, production processes, and equipment handling.
- Maintain production, quality control, cleaning, inspection, and food safety records.
- Coordinate with production, quality control, warehouse, maintenance, and other departments.
- Support inventory control, material usage, waste reduction, and efficient production practices.
- Assist with inspections, audits, corrective actions, and continuous improvement activities.
