Position Summary
The position serves food courses and alcoholic beverages, answers menu questions, and coordinates with the kitchen to provide optimum service.
The role is classified as Food and Beverage and Culinary, is full time, non-management, and not remote.
Food and Beverage Service
- Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages to guests.
- Answer questions about menu selections and communicate wait times, recooks, and product availability to the kitchen.
- Follow cycle-time guidelines and communicate allergies, dietary needs, special requests, and additional meal requirements.
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of work areas, china, glassware, silverware, tables, and service areas.
- Clear courses and properly crumb assigned tables.
Team and Management Support
- Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees.
- Communicate clearly with guests and colleagues and serve as a role model.
- Support the team in reaching common goals and ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
