Position summary

The Food & Beverage Supervisor ensures coordinated staff performance, optimum service, and satisfaction of guest needs.

The role is in the Food and Beverage & Culinary category and is designated non-management.

Core responsibilities

  • Inspect staff grooming and attire and correct deficiencies.
  • Complete opening and closing duties, including setup, cleaning, and securing doors.
  • Inspect storage areas for organization, FIFO use, and cleanliness.
  • Complete inventories and requisition supplies.
  • Monitor dining rooms for seating, service, safety, and guest well-being.
  • Complete maintenance work orders.
  • Assist with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluation, counseling, discipline, motivation, and coaching.
  • Follow company and safety policies, report incidents, and complete required safety training.
  • Welcome guests, address service needs, and assist individuals with disabilities.
  • Maintain professional relationships, quality standards, confidentiality, and company assets.
  • Identify and implement improvements in efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and cost savings.
  • Perform physical tasks including extended standing or walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, and navigating stairs or confined spaces.

Preferred qualifications

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred.
  • At least 2 years of related work experience is preferred.
  • At least 1 year of supervisory experience is preferred.
  • No license or certification is specified.

Schedule

  • The schedule is full time.

Workplace

  • The position is not remote and is performed at the Sheraton location on Sheikh Zayed Road, Al Barsha 1, Dubai.
