Role Description

  • The Food and Beverage Server is a full time, on site role based in Dubai. The F&B Attendant supports daily operations across multiple service areas including Gelato Server, Barista, Pastry Attendant, Cashier, Waiter/Waitress, Food Runner, Front of House Attendant, and Customer Service Associate.

Qualifications (Duties)

  • Always ensure to provide excellent quality service by responding politely and diligently to customer’s orders, queries, concerns, complaints, requests and provide appropriate solution.
  • Welcome and greet the customers with smile and great enthusiasm upon entering and leaving the shop.
  • Ensure to be knowledgeable and updated with all the menu items, prices, dietary restrictions, promotions and assist the customer’s inquiry appropriately.
  • Up sell by offering the flavor of the month or any available promotional offers.
  • Offer items substitution for customers with allergies or other dietary restrictions.
  • Ensure to accurately take customer’s orders and serve within the stipulated time.
  • Arrange, clean the tables, chairs, mop the working floor area including the laboratory area.
  • Observe relevant health and safety standards as per municipality instruction.
  • Be pro active and check for customer’s feedback for overall dine in experience.
  • Always ensure that the assigned working area, materials, tools and equipment used is well maintained and clean.
  • Report and escalate any damage, wastage, customer complaints, non compliance to company policy immediately to the line manager.
  • Organize the materials, ingredients (FIFO) at all times.

Minimum Experience and Knowledge

  • High school diploma or 2 year degree from an accredited university in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major.
  • Great attention to detail and creativity.
  • In depth knowledge of sanitation principles, food preparation, and baking techniques, and nutrition.
  • Candidates should possess strong Customer Service and Food Service skills to deliver high quality dining experiences.
