Canadian Niagara Hotels Group is hiring a Dining Room Cleaner to maintain cleanliness in restaurant and public areas at Fallsview Dinner. Duties include cleaning floors, windows, washrooms, and ensuring safety standards.

Responsibilities
- Clean floors including carpet and tile surfaces using vacuums, mops and related tools
- Daily cleaning of windows and window frames
- Thorough cleaning and sanitization of public washrooms
- Clean wooden ledges, railings, chairs, and benches
- Wet dust artificial flowers and water plants
- Dust and clean ceiling vents and door trims
- Polish brass signage and trim
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are conducted with health, safety, and sanitation standards
- Regularly monitor and maintain floor conditions to prevent slip and fall hazards
- Properly use and store cleaning chemicals and equipment in accordance with WHMIS guidelines
- Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
Requirements
- Outstanding attention to detail in cleanliness, presentation, and tidiness
- Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience in restaurant, hotel, or similar environment is an asset
- Commitment to quality and hospitality during interactions with guests and employees
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively within a team
- Ability to read and understand English
- Working knowledge of cleaning equipment and tools & WHMIS as it pertains to mixing chemicals
- Knowledge of proper sanitation and cleaning techniques
- Ability to meet physical requirements (lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, kneeling, reaching)
- Secondary School Diploma or equivalent education/experience required
- Must be able to work flexible shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays

Position Summary
- Reporting to the Restaurant Manager, the Restaurant Cleaner maintains high standard of cleanliness and presentation across all restaurant and public areas.
- Key role in ensuring safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment for guests and team members.
