Description
Maintain accurate written records such as production orders, test sheets, shipping documentation, pack lists, and Total Preventative Maintenance (TPM) sheets.
Maintain stock control, pull items for orders, assemble / pack products, work in other departments, and complete other related duties as required to fulfill customer requirements.
Accurately picked/pack all items in the BOM.
Work from order schedules as well as from verbal and written instructions.
Participate in a 5S and Lean initiatives.
Apply basic computer skills involving SAP and Microsoft Office, as well as aid in accurate collection of SQDC data.
Use of forklifts, pallet jacks and handcarts and use of cranes and jib hoists.
Other duties may be assigned.
A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
Ability to work effectively with a team or an individual basis as well as safe and effective use of tools such as banders, cutters, staplers, hand / pneumatic tools, and hand tools (power screwdriver, torque wrench, hand wrenches, etc.).
Have basic computer knowledge / skills and use of SAP).
Good problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
Ability to understand fractions, decimals, and measurement techniques.
Ability and drive to meet customer quality and delivery requirements.
Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment.
Ability to inspect own work and the work of others.
Detail oriented and strong organizational skills.
Ability to work overtime when required (some could be on weekends).
Ability to follow directions.
Ability to read, comprehend, and follow shipping / assembly / test / quality assurance procedures and engineering prints.
