Montessori Torah Academy floater aids the lead teacher in establishing a welcoming classroom where each child feels cared for and respected.

The learning environment is student-centered and self-paced, allowing children to explore their own interests while mastering skills and knowledge.

Our Montessori program lays the groundwork for academic success by emphasizing critical thinking, problem-solving, independent focus and working in collaboration with others.

· Aid in the preparation and maintain a learning environment that is clean, organized, and enticing for young learners.

· Use behavior management techniques along with Lead teacher to promote classroom normalization.

· Support each child’s full development socially, mentally, physically and emotionally.

· Maintain positive relationships and communications with parents and peers.

· Actively participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.

• Provide break/absence coverage for staff members working in the infant/toddler and preschool classrooms (coverage will be for Lead Teachers and Assistants).
• Must be flexible, have good time management skills, and be able to fill in where needed.
• Supervises children in educational activities occurring in the classroom, as well as during snacks and meals, naptime, outdoor play, and transition between activities.
• Supports Lead teacher during group activities and discussions.
