The Role
Develop highly reliable, real-time embedded systems that control spacecraft and flight vehicles.
Work on software that directly flies Constellation hardware.
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and deploy mission-critical flight software in C and C++.
- Implement guidance, navigation, and control algorithms on embedded hardware.
- Perform Hardware-in-the-Loop testing to validate software under simulated flight conditions.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to define system architecture and interfaces.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a similar field.
- Exceptional programming skills in modern C and C++.
- Extensive experience with real-time operating systems and embedded Linux.
- Familiarity with I2C, SPI, CAN, and RS-422 hardware communication protocols.
- Familiarity with low-level debugging.
Compensation
- Structured salary information lists $120K–$180K plus 0.25%–1% equity, but no pay cadence is stated.
