About the Role
VHR Recruitment seeks a Flight Simulator Instructor to deliver high-quality simulator-based flight instruction and pilot assessments. You will conduct training on full flight simulators and ensure regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities
- Deliver initial, recurrent, upgrade and remedial simulator training
- Conduct flight instruction covering normal, abnormal and emergency procedures
- Deliver operational scenario based training and mission rehearsals
- Configure and operate Full Flight Simulators (FFS), Flight Training Devices (FTD) and Instructor Operating Stations (IOS)
- Conduct simulator briefings, debriefings and pilot evaluations
- Assess pilot competency and provide coaching to support performance improvement
- Maintain accurate training records and documentation
- Support the development and continuous improvement of simulator lesson plans and training programmes
- Promote a positive safety culture and ensure compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirements
- Work closely with Flight Operations, Engineering, Training and Safety teams
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Simulator Flight Instructor
- Experience delivering both initial and recurrent pilot training
- Strong knowledge of flight operations and aviation regulations
- Experience operating Full Flight Simulators (FFS), Flight Training Devices (FTD) and Instructor Operating Stations (IOS)
- Excellent instructional, communication and leadership skills
- Knowledge of Crew Resource Management (CRM), Human Factors and Safety Management Systems (SMS)

The Role
- This role is responsible for delivering high quality simulator based flight instruction, pilot assessments and operational training, ensuring the highest standards of safety, standardisation and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver initial, recurrent, upgrade and remedial simulator training.
- Conduct flight instruction covering normal, abnormal and emergency procedures.

- Configure and operate Full Flight Simulators (FFS), Flight Training Devices (FTD) and Instructor Operating Stations (IOS).
