About the position:

Pacific Aviation is looking for a Flight Operations Manager to support and mentor our team.

Flight Operations

Directs and coordinates through Flight Dispatcher's and subordinate personnel, flight operation and control activities

of regional stations.

Experience required

Experience of Five years in Flight Operations

FAA Flight Dispatch License

Knowledge of SITA/ARINC/LIDO/JEPPESEN/SABER communication/ flight planning software preferred

Per carrier assignment, training required in CFR 14 PART 121, 129,135, CFR 14 PART 120, CFR 49 PART 40

Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory agencies/ Airports

Capable to perform aircraft performance

Requirements

  • Strong Leadership, communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to prioritize functions, work efficiently and manage time
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Available to work, rotating shifts, holidays and weekends
  • Responsible for the safety of the flights
  • Over-see preparation/filing of computerized Flight and ATC plans for International; Trans-Pacific/ Atlantic Flights
  • Provide full weather/ operational briefing to flight crews, analyze weather NOTAMS and ATC data to ensure safe operations and compliance with Airline SOP's
  • Oversee and manage Flight Operations and Weight & Balance departments
  • Liaise with Upper Management, Clients, Vendors, Airport and Government Authorities to ensure station activities are in compliance with Federal, State, Company and Airline regulations
  • Manage and develop personnel (Flight Dispatch and Weight & Balance) to maximize operational performance in areas of on-time performance, staffing, training and safety
  • Administrative duties include preparation of staff work schedules to obtain optimum utilization of human resources and facilities
  • Prepare and submit reports pertaining to flight operations, payroll and Client billing
  • Operate within the budget
