- Oversee operational delivery and day to day management of flight crew
- Lead and develop flight crew to ensure required flight safety and regulatory compliance levels
- Define and implement strategy, process and policy for flight crew selection, recruitment, roster patterns, career progress, and base transfer scheme
- Assist in development, review and update of company Operations Manuals (OM)
- Ensure safe operation through continuous performance management of pilots
- Oversight of Safety by monitoring ASR reporting rates and base occurrences trends
- Escalate issues affecting safety policy, operational regulatory compliance, operational standards, process and procedures
- Develop and maintain a team management strategy creating a positive, just culture
- Consult and involve crew in decision making
- Monitor performance promoting OTP and Fuel conservation measures at base
- Manage specific projects as directed by the Nominated Person Flight Operations
- Coach and mentor pilots, manage pilot career development
Requirements
- Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL)
- A320 Valid Type Rating
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Pilot, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership or managerial role
- In depth knowledge of aviation regulations, policies, and procedures
- Strong understanding of safety management systems and risk assessment
- Excellent leadership and managerial skills
- Exceptional problem solving and decision making abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High level of integrity and commitment to safety and compliance

Overview
- Beond is seeking internal applications for a Flight Crew Manager. This position can be based in either Malé (MLE) or Dubai (DWC).
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure a safe operation through the continuous performance management of pilots ensuring compliance with all Beond policies and procedures.
- Oversight of Safety by monitoring of ASR reporting rates and base occurrences trends, providing appropriate mitigations and escalating issues as required.
- Escalate to NPFO and NPSSC on issues affecting the safety policy, operational regulatory compliance, operational standards, process and procedures.
- Develop and maintain a team management strategy/style which creates a positive, just culture which engenders flight crew to feel valued and to trust and respect the pilot management team.
- Consult and involve crew in decision making to enhance the working relationship.
- Encourage pilots to think safety, on time performance, cost and service.
- Support the Flight Operations Management team to identify and implement cost savings initiatives, balancing safety with cost.
- Monitor performance promoting OTP and Fuel conservation measures at base.
- Assisting the Flight Operations in developing local processes.
- Managing specific projects as directed by the Nominated Person Flight Operations.
- Representing Beond on flight operational matters at Base level where technical expertise is required to improve safety.
- Accountable for leading and managing pilots to deliver an efficient and flexible workforce.
Requirements
