Role Overview
The Flex Videographer for Nordstrom’s Salespeople Video Program creates professional videos with salespeople and stylists for Nordstrom.com.
The role supports the online customer experience by connecting customers with Nordstrom people, stores, and fashion expertise.
This is a flexible, as-needed position and is not full-time; scheduling depends on work volume.
Responsibilities
- Set up the daily video set with camera, audio, lighting, and fixtures according to program framing guidelines.
- Ensure proper lighting and focus for videos and b-roll.
- Partner with the on-set associate producer to guide talent and provide content feedback.
- Coach talent on set to create engaging and valuable content.
- Support crew training or onboarding when requested.
- Manage audio and audit content while filming.
- Back up footage after each shift and upload it for post-production.
- Assist with product preparation and shipping as needed.
- Maintain audio and video supplies and equipment and report repair or replacement needs promptly.
Required Qualifications
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office Suite.
