Fleet Technician (AZ, Phoenix, Phoenix - 135)

Responsibilities

• This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety-sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. Associates must have the ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.
• Assisting in ensuring our fleet vehicles are maintained, repaired, and safe for our drivers following D.O.T. standardized requirements.
• Completing preventative maintenance repairs or coordinating preventative maintenance repairs with third party mechanics and vendors
• First contact with drivers who have roadside emergencies or any type of mechanical issues with equipment.
• Assist drivers with needed hoses, fittings and supplies.
• Working on other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.
